Call me crazy, but I enjoy identifying stock photos and remembering where else I saw them. I ran into some display signage for a keyboard at Guitar Center and remembered where I saw it before: This girl is known to me as “DVD Girl” because she also appears on a box for an I/O Magic [...]

Why am I now (typically!) up before the sun? Does not compute!
Tonight I went out for dinner with a fellow employee and a couple of customers. It turned out that the fellow employee and one of the customers were both smokers. (I could totally smell it on them from the get-go, which is a new thing for me.) It felt pretty good to sit there and [...]

Some “legitimate” spam I receive is just stupid. Note to companies: If you are going to spam me with your marketing crap, please try to make it less crappy.
Register.com sent me the following chuckle:
Maybe this isn’t as weird as I think it is. My friend Kai is a wicked-smart Scrabble player, and here’s where we’re at: We have each exchanged a few tiles, Kai has passed a couple of times, and I just played “bEBOP” to try and break us out of the wall we’ve managed to create. [...]
